1. Information We Collect

None. All tax calculations run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process your income data, tax information, or any financial details on our servers. When you enter your income and use our calculators, that data never leaves your device.

2. Cookies

TaxCalc.asia does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. However, our advertising partner (Google AdSense) may use cookies to serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance. These cookies are set by Google, not by us, and are subject to Google's own privacy policy.

When you first visit our site, a cookie consent banner appears asking you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your preference is stored in localStorage so the banner does not reappear on subsequent visits. 3. Advertising & Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our website. 5. Data Transfers

We are based in Indonesia. If you access our site from outside Indonesia, your data may be transferred across international borders. Specifically, because we use Google services (AdSense and Fonts), your IP address and certain cookie data may be transferred to Google servers in the United States.

When such transfers involve the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, they are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission, which provide safeguards for your data. 6. Analytics

We do not currently use any analytics tools or tracking scripts. We do not use Google Analytics.

In the future, if we add analytics, we will use a privacy-focused analytics service such as Plausible or Fathom, which do not use cookies and do not collect personal data. Any analytics would be used solely to understand overall site usage (page views, popular content, approximate country-level location) and would be aggregated anonymously.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data. Since we do not collect personal data directly, these rights primarily apply to any data held by our third-party service providers (e.g., Google).

• Right to opt-out of sale — We do not sell your personal data. We do not share data for cross-context behavioral advertising except via Google AdSense, which you may opt out of as described in Section 3.
• Right to non-discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

California law requires us to disclose that we do not sell personal data as defined by the CCPA.

8. Children's Privacy

TaxCalc.asia is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Our ad partner Google AdSense uses restricted data processing for users under 18 to comply with COPPA and similar laws.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
